We recently worked with Marsden House Funeral Services in creating a series of ads that spoke to a very specific audience. We needed to communicate a very delicate message – pre-planning your own funeral – in a way that was respectful and compelling.
We came up with the idea of creating quotes that were balanced with a musical taste in the first half and something specific about a funeral service in the second half. This created a colloquial headline that said funerals can be pre-planned and customised, all depending on the ‘likes’ of the reader. This was then supported with carefully selected images, which reached the target market and were of an appropriate mood.
