Downing Design has recently rebranded the Nelson Regional Economic Development Agency (EDA). Their old brand imagery had grown tired and didn’t reflect accurately the functions of the EDA anymore. The blue and green in the new logo reflect the region’s main resources and the value they bring. Two distinct shapes represent TDC and NCC, and the lines represent the networks the EDA facilitates in order to foster smart sustainable economic growth in the region. An important part of the project was the design of the four page bimonthly EDA newsletter. A new template was developed along with new graphic elements and style guide.
Items produced include
Brand strategy and rationale; logo design; presentation folders; stationery design; business cards; pull-up banners; bimonthly newsletter
“We’ve been very pleased with the inclusive and friendly approach they take for any project we ask them to look at. They have always delivered on time and well within budget. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services.”
Bill Findlater, Chief Executive, Nelson Regional Economic Development Agency (EDA)
