Save Our Babies
With only a short timeframe to fundraise over five-million dollars to build a pest-proof fence, Brook Waimarama Sanctuary came to us to help them create a campaign to get people on-board. We developed the headline “Save Our Babies” to support their already existing phrase “Get Behind the Fence”. At an emotional level the pest-proof fence is all about saving vulnerable endangered baby animals. By personifying the animals, it helped get the cut through needed and grab people’s attention, with headlines like: NELSON BABY (tuatara) EATEN BY RATS and STOAT DEVOURS INFANT (kiwi). This was then applied to posters, stickers and brochures.
